Bacterial vaginosis??

I think I have BV. Ever since I had my daughter 6 months ago I’ve had excessive amounts of discharge. I ignored it at first because I thoight my body was thrown off from labor, but it never stopped and I ignored it for awhile because I was so stressed with new motherhood.

Well, I didn’t consider that it was BV. Me and my husband have been having sex as normal and he performed oral sex on me and got a sore in his mouth. (I have no sores)I wanted to die of embarrassment!

We’ve never had sex with any other partners so I know it’s not an STD. I’m pretty sure it’s BV I’ve had the excess discharge and I’ve been noticing a stronger odor and overall I don’t ever feel clean down there.

I made a drs appt for this coming week but would my husband get a sore from BV? Or could it be something else?

Please no judgement I’ve never had any type of infection before I’ve always tried my best to avoid them.
