3rd Pregnancy 1st Ultrasound

Yesterday was an emotional roller coaster! We had our first ultrasound. I am happy to say that baby is growing well with a very strong heartbeat. BUT lol my pregnancy got a little longer. I was supposed to be 8w+4d but turns out I am actually 7 weeks on the dot as of today. It was a big enough difference that they changed my due date to April 29th. That particular day holds significant meaning so we are EXCITED! I was concerned at first but seeing a heartbeat almost immediately quickly calmed my anxiety. Idk if any other moms have had the same situation as me and feel concerned but rest easy! Dr said it happens often and it usually happens bc we ladies don’t give our body enough time to adjust after birth control. We are 4 months post Mirena. I am happy to say we have a strong healthy growing baby with a heart rate of 133 bpm 😍🥰🤰🏻
