Ovulation test newbie

I got my period after being 5 days late (Ive never been late so got my hopes up) which also meant that because my period was late, I ovulated later than what the app predicted. unfortunately my bf and I were to busy during updated ovulation window so AF came.

We decided to start using ovulation tests, I purchased some online and am waiting for them to arrive. I was looking for some tips, advice, or just what worked/ didn’t work for ladies out there.

~Why do some people test more than once in a day?
