Anybody experience this with a late period

So I took a test and the faint lines that were getting darker went away and they were negative so I thought my period was coming but it didn’t so I’m 3 days late and yesterday I was spotting when I wiped but then I went out and didn’t bleed or spot at all so I was like wtf then today I got a brown clot and a little more spotting but after I wiped I wiped two more times and it was gone so I just peed again and I’m getting more brown discharge but no bleeding or spotting And the blood isn’t red it’s like a rust color when I spot and the spotting is only when I wipe when I wipe again the tissue is clean

My period is probably about to start but I have never experienced this I’m confused
