I Didn’t Know I was Pregnant, Does it really happen??

Question

Have any of you not known you were pregnant til later into your pregnancy? i’m so curious about this topic! does it really happen?? did you have negative pregnancy tests before? tell me your stories! 
EDIT: i would count this as controversial because many people think it’s impossible not to know, or impossible for women to get a negative pregnancy test result and really, still be pregnant. i am interested by other people’s views and experiences! definitely didn’t mean to upset anyone by my post.

I'm just going to throw out there that this could be controversial as many women believe it is impossible not know you are pregnant. Lol. 
Watching the show always fascinated me, especially when the women didn't change in appearance one bit. Pretty crazy!

So this is on the lighter side of controversy, but I’ll bite. 
I went through my full first trimester without knowing. I’m not obese and don’t have any underlying health issues. 
I was still breastfeeding my first, didn’t start my cycle yet, and mistakenly thought I couldn’t get pregnant. 
Once I had a suspicion, I went to the OB who immediately said “that’s a big baby! You’ve been pregnant for a while.”

Thus, I’m accidentally in the 2 under 2 club.

It is very possible to be pregnant and not know about it. It is also very rare for this to happen, so more than likely people saying they “didn’t know” probably did.

My friend didnt know till she was 17 weeks

Eh I think so. Sometimes people don’t know they are pregnant till way later in their pregnancy and for first time parents, the whole first trimester can feel like a stomach flu tbh or stress. Like if I wasn’t actively trying to get pregnant I would think I was having stress based stomach aches and nausea since I get those all the time and was going through a really stressful time at work

Not to me, but to add acquaintance. She had fertility problems, adopted, and then immediately got pregnant. Ended up with 2 under 1. She had no idea she was pregnant, when to the ER for stomach pains and are was in labor. I think she had PCOS, so never had a regular period to begin with she didn't feel kicks because of an anterior placenta

My friend didn’t find out till she was 6 months she was drinking (every weekend) and smoking all the time then she said to my mom how much weight she had been and was gaining my mom told her to get a pregnancy test she did And it was positive

My mother was unaware till third trimester with my older sister. She has pictures of that time and she was not really showing. She didn't have regular periods either and it was normal for her to have light periods or none at all. Only bad thing was she was on and off birth control and drinking. She started having Braxton Hicks around 28 weeks and she recognized it and that's when she found out she was pregnant. This was the 80s tho and she did not have the best healthcare to go see the doctor regularly.
