Second induction easier?

My induction date is this Tuesday at 6 am.  Was your second induction faster than your first? Im already 4 cm dilated and 60 effaced. My first I was in labor for 14 hours and pushed for 3.

My first induction was 15-16 hours. Pushed for 22 min. Second I was already 5 cm when I went in. Took 3 hours and pushed maybe 5 times. It was definitely quicker the second time.

My first induction was 18 hours. My second induction was 5 1/ 2hours. I stayed at 1 1/2 cm with my first but I was already 3 cm with my second. So I think yours will go pretty quick! I'm hoping my 3rd will be pretty quick as well. Good luck to you!!

My second induction was easier in that I was better prepared mentally for what to expect and what to ask for. Both were 12 hours start to finish including the 15-20 min I pushed for each.

For me, the second induction was easier.  First of all, I knew what to expect so fear of the unknown was not a factor. I do think that second babies tend to come faster too.  My second came almost two hours sooner than the first.

They’re in no way related. Every pregnancy/birth is different. If your body is ready, it’ll be quicker (though for induction your first was pretty quick)
