Birth story❤️
I was due for a membrane sweep this morning. We are military so we are supposed to move next week- exactly on my due date date. Baby had other plans!!
At 1am I started having contractions about 10 minutes apart. I didn’t think anything of it, I knew it was the real deal but figured I have hoooours to go. Around 4 they picked up and were 5 minutes apart, by 5am I was screaming into a pillow at 3 minutes apart to keep from waking up my 2 year old lol
We still wanted to shower, had to get the toddler up and ready, pack my bag, and install the car seat (don’t procrastinate guys!!!) and didn’t leave until 6:45. By then I was in transition, having contractions back to back and yelling at every car in front of us (“fuck you mercedes!!!”). We got to the parking lot and I started feeling him down low and I was getting the urge to poop. I told my husband he was coming, so when the contractions stopped we RAN. Once we got in the lobby I started taking my pants off because he was coming then and there. My husband said helllll no and picked me up into a birthing suite. The secretary said the midwife wasn’t there yet and that she would call her, just as his head came out. Secretary looked so scared and ran out, as the next contraction came my husband caught the baby. Does this count as an unassisted birth since nobody was around?😂❤️
6 pounds, 8 oz. 20.5 inches long at 7am! We were discharged before noon. 6 hour labor, 2-3 minutes of pushing! No epidural, I hated but loved it lol
