I’m 17 Dpo should I take a test?

Hi guys, I need advice me and my boyfriend have recently had been unprotected since August. The 29th of August we have unprotected sex and he finished in me twice. I have recently missed my period according to the app I’m 8 days late plus the app is really accurate with calculating my period every month. Should I take a test or is it too early ?
