36 weeks+4 days ultrasound short femurs?

Question

I’m 36 weeks and 5 days and yesterday I had a biophysical ultrasound and he was measuring good except his femurs were measuring 33 weeks +6 days. At his other ultrasounds they were all proportional to his body size. My OB said he looked perfect but I can’t help worrying, especially after I googled it. Anyone else?

Ultrasounds like that aren’t always accurate, my boy was measuring small on the screen at 35 weeks and after my doctor and ultrasound tech reviewed it they said he was actually measuring a week ahead-65th percentile.

Going through the same, had a scan at 31 weeks and the doctor wasn't worried. She will just be short like her parents. I'm 5'3" and hubby 5'7" just like you guys.

Could it be that they just didn’t get good measurements? I can’t imagine it would be very easy to get an accurate measurement this late in the game with baby so big and squished in a ball 🤷🏻‍♀️ just a thought!

Going through this myself. Had a scan at 32w & 2d and her femur growth is in the 2nd percentile. An as a FTM and just being myself worried in general, however my poor baby has short parents. 🤣 I’m 5’4 & her daddy is 5’3. 😬 so baby girl is gonna be short too.

Also going through this. His femurs are in the 1.9 percentile. I'm 5'7'' and my husband is 6'
They basically said they aren't too worried since everything else looks good but they will check him over really good once he's here. 
No point in worrying over it now as hard as it is!

This happened to me also. I had to get an extra scan done and the doctor said he is fine just short like his parents. He wasn’t worried about it at all

My firstborn’s femurs measured as small as 9th percentile? Maybe a bit smaller. She’s a seemingly normal 2 year old now. Been in the 80th percentile for height. Is a bit more torso than legs, but not noticeably so.
