Hey ladies! Contractions are looking like this but aren’t very painful, just super uncomfortable. Is it possible it’s real contractions if they just feel like period cramps?

Yes they definitely can be the real deal. I had to be induced with my son because he had no fluid at 39+3. When I went in at 12pm I was having contractions back to back they weren't painful. I had contractions when they went to start pitocin at 5pm, they had to give me fluids to slow down my contractions so they could start it. I didn't feel much just some period cramping for the first few hours. Then when I started to dilate more thats when they picked up.

Yes could be very real! I was only in labor 3 hours and spent 2 at home. If I wasn’t supposed to be induced I wouldn’t have made it to the hospital because I expected contractions to be more painful.

My early labor felt exactly like period cramps so it could be real. I thought it was just normal pregnancy cramping (which I had on and off the whole time) until they got painful.
