When to prepare for baby

I'm 27 weeks. I am going to have a c section so I pretty much know when she will be born BUT when should I start getting her stuff ready. Her bed, dresser, hospital bag etc...???

Just don't wait. Get it ready as you get it. Then you can account for things you might need that you didn't think of, or if anything has a missing part or screw. It's better to be prepared early. For us, we got bassinet and other things ready as soon as they came, and our hospital bag we waited to make until 35 weeks, but there's no reason not to have it sooner. We also created a list of things to add later so we were prepared (like my headphones I wanted to use, so I didn't put them in my bag, just on the list to be packed before leaving).

I think you should slowly start getting ready. If you try to do it all in one day it is too tiring and there’s always stuff you think of later. Moving around doesn’t get easier the longer you wait. Do it while you still feel comfortable enough. That way you can things extra as you keep progressing.

I start as soon as i find out tbh. Planning, financially its easier to buy a piece of furniture or some big purchase each month instead of all at once.

I started putting things together at 34 weeks  such as bed bassinet and swing etc . I’m now 36.2 days and still need to packs bags 😬

I don’t have the crib ready yet but I have our hospital bags partially packed(toothbrush etc not packed) I got it all ready at 19 weeks 😅 I’m 21 weeks now... I had my last baby at 33 weeks due to preeclampsia so that’s got me packing early.... just hoping I don’t have to have this one early and make it to full term

Personally I would get baby stuff ready now since you really dont know if baby comes early or not and you also wont feel up to it later

Even though you have a scheduled C-section you never know if baby decides to come early and you are not prepared. I got her nursery together around 34 weeks but that is because I had moved and didn’t want to buy the stuff until the new place. I was planning to get her hospital bag packed at 37 weeks, Tuesday of that week 8 am ultrasound appt that determined I had to have my baby and they recommended delivery that day. 
So, I would say between 30-35 weeks you should be good!

I did almost everything 4-6 weeks before. I made sure room was finished by the last month.
I’ve gone into labor 2x early and always been glad I had that finished haha
My bag I packed 6 weeks early with my first and then the night before with our 2nd. Whoops 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️
