Can I still go back to college

Can I still go back to college well a different school if I was academically discharged?!? Reason being is because I have a special needs daughter then corona hit and I had to move and I was without a good bit of stuff but I got back on my feet and the lady said I had to have mandating reason to give the dean so he can let me back in and she was like if I knew I had a special needs child why would I even go to school to being with and that I should’ve say that another person’s well being is the down fall of my education I want to better myself for my daughter and my family.
