When it's cold enough, do you have a heater in your kid's room?

I'm just curious! My girls room only has 1 vent so it's hard to keep warm. We have a small heater but I'm nervous to use it. 
Last night it was in the upper 30s. Our thermostat was set to 70, but it was 67 in her room (according to our monitor). 
She was dressed in fleece footed pajamas and had a blanket. But she never uses it 😂

Yes. I do and you can as well if you take a few precautions. 
Purchase a good standing heater without coils that are exposed. 
Make certain the heater is one that will automatically shut off if tipped over. One that had a disruption or "fallover" alarm is preferable. 
Place it in an area that is far away from your child's crib and the access door to the room as well as at least 6 feet from any bedding or furniture. There should be a minimum of 6 feet distance between the heater and everything else in the room.
Place a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector on a shelf or on the wall directly above the heater. Use this separate alarm in conjunction and addition to any alarms you have wired directly into your home. 
Place a fire extinguisher outside the door of the childs room. 
Keep a video or audio monitor on and keep the reciever with you at all times while the child is in the room and the heater is on.
This will enable you to have the heater on safely in your childs room.

Nope I feel like they are too dangerous but you could put a fan on low facing away from her to circulate the warm air

Our sons room is in the basement and it's typically 60 ish down there in the summer so we always have the floor board heater on. As long as your baby is warm around the chest/back and their hands and feet aren't super cold, the room temp is fine.
