postpartum, Is this normal?

So I am a new, first time mom and I'm not really sure what's normal or not. My son is almost 2 weeks and I had a tear with him so I have stitches. It's been almost two weeks and I am barely bleeding anymore but my...ya know..feels super tight and dry. Help me out please! Is this normal? Or should I be concerned because I'm not bleeding as much and it's tight?

For me, use my the peri bottle was making things soooooo dry. It was so dry that it felt itchy and tight. Once I started wiping normally again it felt just fine. Also, I used coconut oil a couple of times when I felt like I just needed extra moisture. My doctor said if the coconut oil didn't work then we could talk about an estrogen cream to use vaginally.

I was the same way, it’s your skin trying to heal it’s self. I used some anti chaffing lotion the hospital gave me to help with the dryness and itchiness.
