The only thing I can think of is last night my bf fingered me his nails were long I didn’t notice until after it started to hurt down there I do wear thongs n I do drink a lot of soda but some water too maybe it’s that.? 😭 also I can’t even walk right bc it doesn’t hurt but I feel pressure. I’m peeing a lot n my period Is a week late negative tests idk if It has anything to do with that. I have a non hormonal iud so does don’t mess with ur period..

Drink more water and less soda, ask your boyfriend to keep his hands clean and his nails trimmed, and you need to schedule a doctor either way because if you truly have an UTI then you will need prescription treatment.

It’s recommended to wear cotton panties as they help your vagina breath a lot better than a thong. It also makes it easier for bacteria from your rectum to move to your vagina but there isn’t a direct link between thongs and UTIs. But wearing cotton undies will help relieve any pain down there caused by your UTI. Also, the soda. It should be that you drink more water than soda. Cut back on the soda and drink more water. If you’re truly developing a UTI, drinking water will help your symptoms. Have your boyfriend trim his nails and wash his hands before fingering you or doing any sexual activity. There’s a good chance he may have scratched you and got bacteria. Ultimately, please see a doctor so you can get an accurate diagnosis and get a prescription for antibiotics. The antibiotics will cure the UTI and prevent it from escalating up into a kidney infection.
