Of you really love the name just use it. You could pick a more unused name and the next year everyone could use it. Saying that I have a Eliza short and sweet like Ella.

I work with kids and I can’t tell you how many Ellas I have abs currently work with not to mention kids I know from friends and family named Ella. I have a very common name and there were 4 with my name in my small high school class of 50. It was super annoying. If you are unsure I’d go with something less common for her sake.
