No, but I was very lucky with a relatively quick and easy 1st baby so I never felt the need to have one and loved being able to be in control of my body the whole time.  But I was absolutely prepared to get one if it got to be too much.  
Side note, my husband and I got tired of reminding nursing staff that I did not have an epidural every time they used that as an explanation for issues or questions I had and it got to the point my husband started demanding they read my chart before answering.  So be prepared for that possibly if you don't get one since its seems the majority of moms do.

I got an epidural at 3cm after being in labor for 2 days I wasn't progressing. Unfortunately the guy had trouble getting the needle in the right spot so it failed and I didn't want to get another one. I basically went natural I felt EVERYTHING.

I labored almost two days without and I think I could’ve continued if my labor was progressing, but I wasn’t really dilating. When it became clear that I was almost certainly going to need a c-section, I got the epidural. It feels weird, but it definitely made things more comfortable.
