Moving into a new house and I’ve been busting my ass moving and cleaning, to make my sons party nice. Well usually we do a bonfire and ppl stay late and we have a great time but this time majority ppl left early to go to this other party. It was my husbands brothers friends- dad that passed away 3 days ago. They have been using it as an excuse to party EVERYDAY. My husband tried to make me switch the birthday party so him and his brothers could go drink all day. Anyway, my husband was zero help at all for the party. I did EVERYTHING. He got drunk. After we have dessert, ppl start to leave. My grandma asked where my husband was to say bye and we couldnt find him. I found out he left to go to this party with his brother and didn’t say ONE word to me. Didn’t say bye or thanks to anyone. Didn’t help clean up he just left. I’m so embarrassed and hurt. I tried to call him and he said “ well you knew i wanted to go”. I lost my shit on him. That was so low! If it was important to him he coulda talked to me and I woulda went also but it’s all a joke. I feel so bad for my son. And I’m so exhausted from cleaning up after the party basically alone. I don’t even know what to do. It makes me resent my husband when he’s constantly doing whatever is convenient for himself. It’s not fair. Just venting 😭
