I had a twin flame relationship once. It was amazing at first he ended up having lots of mental issues so no it didn’t work out and I held on for too long. Because we finished each others sentences did the exact same things at the same time had the same thoughts when things were good we had such a deep connection. But he was abusive and toxic . Shit he turned me toxic. We had to separate . Ever since tho I’ve been looking for that connection with someone else.

Communication is number one. My man and I are def twin flames he's my complementary opposite and we get on each other's nerves but the love we have is unlike anyone I've ever met. The most important thing is realizing this isn't going to be an easy path for both of you. Twin flames are intense thats why they're called FLAMES lol they will bring about your biggest triggers. They're a reflection of all the unresolved issues from your past. There are a lot of videos on YouTube on how to overcome and deal with them. Sometimes separation is also necessary if you find it's not working out. You both have to be mature enough to deal with your shadows and resolve them because otherwise they will continue to affect your relationship. Unless you're willing to do the inner work whether through therapy meditation or other means, it won't be an easy path for you. Remember that not all twin flames end up together in the long run, it takes way more work than a regular soulmate relationship.

Communicate all the time, as much as possible, as soon as you feel something. Wether it’s about something/someone in your own life, or your personal obstacles, what they’re making you feel, etc. We communicate all the time, and we’ve only ever had problems when either of us is bottling something up, because the other can tell and it feels hurtful to not know.
