I Came Out To My Dad

I finally decided it was time to come out to my dad. I we was scared so I decided to do it over the phone. I didn't want to see any disappointment. When I called him he said "I'm busy, are you bleeding or dying". I said " No but I just wanted to say I'm gay!" *Silence* " Good for you. Don't call me at work unless you're bleeding or dying!"

How should I take that response.
