How do you count baby’s months?

So you go by weeks like 20 weeks= 5 months 
Or by date ex: july2 - aug2 = 1 month

While in your tummy it’s by weeks because you have 40 weeks of pregnancy. After birth it would be counting starting the day they were born. So if they were born September 28th, then October 28th they are 1 month old.

For the first 2 months I go by weeks. This is because of the vaccine schedule. The first set of vaccine can be given as early as 6 weeks but closer to 8 weeks is best. 
After we receive the first set of vaccines not including the Hep B at the hospital we go by the date. ￼
However neither way of doing it is wrong.
I used to work in healthcare and our computer system automatically did weeks up until 3 months.
