Tantrums - please help me

My 15 month old is having crazy tantrums over nothing! I don’t know if I should console her or just ignore it. For example, this morning we were rushing out the door and I put her lunch box up on the couch so I could put her shoes on and she had a fit because she wanted to hold it. Like she had at tantrum to the point where she was hyperventilating. She also had her yogurt in her hands and squeezed it all over me and threw it at me. Ugh any advice would be helpful.
