When did I ovulated?

I was suppose to ovulate on the Monday 28th but my app said I ovulated early on the Wednesday 23rd. I think Monday the 28th I noticed it changed my ovulation date to Friday the 25th. I was hoping someone could tell me which date looks right. I took a test this morning and I swear I saw a shadow, but am putting the test down and invalid. Because I stoped the rest and kicked it and broke it lol. So I had to take it out to get a pic and by the time I did all that the test was over like 5 mins from the allotted 10 min window.
