First day of school

Allison

Today was my 13 month old daughters first day of daycare. She will go 2 days a week. She didn’t eat much lunch and only slept 45 minutes. She was scared and cried when it got loud in there in the afternoon (there are only 8 kids in her class but she’s the youngest.)

Overall they said she did pretty well but she didn’t walk at all. Not once. She’s been walking independently since September 10 and it’s a requirement to be walking to be in the one year old class. Needless to say they are worried about her getting hurt because she’s the littlest and the youngest.

Just looking for advice/ similar stories / support. I know daycare will be an adjustment but if you have had toddlers on the younger side for their class how did they do? What do I need to know? Thanks mamas.
