What should I do?

I just had my baby she is 2 weeks old, and I also have an older kid. I have a doctor appointment next week that I can’t miss because he is checking a mass they found on my lungs. My husband will be working so he is telling me to ask his mom to come sit with the kids while I go, but the problem is that we ve been telling her that she can’t come and have physical contact with the kids since she is getting exposed by living with her daughter and kids, dining out, going shopping and so on. I am really worried that she might give my baby Covid 19.

Would you ask her to come? If I did then it means I will always have to accept that she comes whenever she wants to see the kids.

I know I can’t keep her away for a long time but my baby is still so young now and it’s also very important that I see the doctor. What would you do?
