Low self-esteem

Someone im close to made a comment "some 30 somethings just let them selfs go." I don't know why it bothers me. I mean she is in her late 20s. Ill be turning 34 this Halloween.

But while she was making this comment she looked right at me and it gave me a weird feeling. Its starting to make question myself and my relationship with my SO. Hes been looking so good lately. I'm starting to think he can do better. Idk. I might be tripping over this to much.
