Should I use monistat 7? 28 weeks.

Question

I’ve only had one yeast infection before and it was while I was pregnant with my first four years ago, so I feel very ill-informed about them, but I’m in a lot of pain. 
I would just call my doctor and make an appointment so she could possibly prescribe me something but it’s Saturday so they are closed. Should I just wait until Monday? Is that safe? Or should I get something to use in the meantime to try to clear it up and manage the pain? 
No fever or chills or anything that may warrant emergency care. Just a lot of inflammation, rawness, and itchiness. 😫 any help would be great.

My ob says Monistat is safe BUT I would still see if you could talk to someone. My ob has an on call dr every night and day they are closed.

Get the monistat so you can get some relief . Call your doctor on Monday

There isn't any harm in waiting if that's what you'd rather do. Yeast infection won't harm baby it will just make you uncomfortable. Monistat 7 is safe during pregnancy. I had yeast infections almost every month while pregnant. It's from hormones according to my OB. Your OB should have a nurses line or you can call the local pharmacy
