Hi, so my son is about to be 17 months and he's my one and only , so I'm a ftm...

Well I noticed some things that I'm not sure are normal behavior or something else...

He has a set of linkamals toys and right now he absolutely loves them however he's started becoming almost obsessed ( best word I can think to describe ) with turning them on and off. He figured out the switches and now has even started doing it with other toys if they have a switch. He's seen me do it before because I had to sync up his linkamals on occasion when they desync...and for the most part he's not really wanting to play with anything else especially not for long , he just goes back to those ones specifically...and then today I had them in a different spot in his room and he went in and moved each one back to the original spot...then he moved them back and forth two more times...and I don't understand why...

I suffer from ocd, and anxiety so I worry about him having it..but is that possible? Especially this early? Or could it be something else or just entirely normal..?

Another thing I noticed is that he's been pretty good with learning new words, he's said dada, mama, nana, uhoh, we're pretty sure he's had started saying hott and on, and his grandmother taught him to say shoes but very muffled , however...he's kind of just stopped.... he'll say dada once in a while and he barely ever says mama..he still says uhoh but everything else he just won't say...I thought I heard him say on but it was at random things and and wasn't sure I heard right... everything else we've ever heard has just stopped. I am still constantly trying to get him to learn new words ofcourse like ball, dog, yes, no etc but he just won't . He wines alot for things. Or points and says " ah" ..we try to teach " please" but I know that's harder. He definitely understands what we say and he'll point to things he wants and gets things when we ask like " can you get the ball? " . He goes right for it. He does things sometimes that make me think it's advanced but then he does these other things and I worry....Am I too concerned?
