Ready for potty training?

Question

My son has been taking off his diapers a lot recently and I thought okay that’s normal... 
Then today he walked over to me and said “poopoo” and pointed at his diaper. 
Next thing I know he’s pushing and starts going poop. 
After I changed his dirty diaper, he takes off his diaper grabs the wipes and starts wiping himself. 
Is he ready? I’m a FTM any advice on how to start

Definitely if he tells you before he goes, put him on the potty once he tells you! Worth a try at least.

Sound ready! My son is 17 months and doing the same stuff but at daycare that have to wait til they are in the 2 yr old room that has a bathroom in it. Soooo we are holding off, I don’t want to confuse him with using the potty at home and diapers when he’s at school

Oh he is ready ! I trainee my son 12 months . N we stopped diaper since then . He only wears training pants . He got Pepe trained first n then poop trained . So just go for it. They learn very fast trust me
