Day 3 or 5 transfer is the best?

Answer

It depends on your unique situation. If you have many fertilized eggs and many embryos should go for day 5 to weed out the ones that won't make it to day 5 blast. However if you had just 2 eggs to fertilize and neither might make it to day 5 they will just transfer them day 3 to have better chance in your body.  For older women with fewer eggs day 3 is better if they have just one or two.

How do they determine the transfer day an what is it based on?
Sorry I came across this alot an have no idea what it means. Are they transferring on day 3 of your cycle or is it a day 3 embryo that didn't make it to blastcyst
