In what ways would you hope your child isn’t like you?

do you have any personal traits or characteristics you’d hope your child doesn’t inherit?
I hope my daughter doesn’t allow her self to be pushed around by her peers the way I have and I hope she can stand up for herself in areas where I couldn’t.
But I also hope she doesn’t inherit my stubbornness.
What about you? Or is there anything about your child’s other parent that you hope they wouldn’t be like?

I hope my kids stand up for themselves and not to be pushed around like I was in school. My boyfriend always stands up for himself and would stand up to other if someone was being bullied. That’s how I want my kids to be.

I hope she finds her voice earlier than I did. I was always shy and meek and just went with what everyone said. I hope she has confidence and doesn’t take shit from anybody.

I hope my son doesn’t have anxiety issues like I do. I also hope he isn’t anal retentive about certain things like my boyfriend can be 😂. Hoping for a mixture of the two of us!

I hope they have strong boundaries and self esteem and self love that isn’t based on their weight. I hope they are also not constantly dealing with mental health issues and are genuinely content.

I don’t want my son to be anyone’s doormat. It took me until freshmen year of high school to say enough is enough. 
I hope he’s more extroverted than I am cause I’m pretty antisocial in public. 
I hope he doesn’t get my depression and anxiety issues.

I hope my kids were kind to everyone but I hope they aren't too soft hearted. I don't want them getting hurt like I did as a kid just because I cared too much
