Cps call?

Has anyone ever called CPS.

What proof do you have to submit?

I don’t really have any, just what the mom said.

She told me she’ll leave baby alone for hours in a dark room. She also has mentioned she’ll put baby on a diet of 2oz every 4 hours. Baby is almost a year and she said the doctor said their malnourished but she doesn’t care she isn’t raising a fat baby.

Would you try to intervene before reporting?

I told her babies need to be played with. And mentioned she probably should up the feedings, I offered to buy more formula if she needed it. She said cost wasn’t the problem, she just doesn’t want her overweight. I offered to babysit if she needed a break, she said nanny is there 3 days a week and mom has baby 1 day a week.

Maybe she was having a bad day?

Would you just report or see if things change? I don’t want to ruin this family, but I’d like to see them get help? Would you just pop in more often?

I don’t know her mom or her husband. She’s just a neighbor.
