Would you be mad?

So my boyfriend and I spent the time planning for thus trip for awhile now coming up this weekend. All of the sudden he buys a car and now is telling me we can’t go because now he doesn’t have enough money.... he didn’t tell me this . I’m upset because I requested those days off from work. Yet he decided to pull that move on me . Do I have a reason to be upset or am I overreacting?

Depends. Did he need the the car or just wanted a new one? And can’t you just cancel your time off? I’m sure you were excited. Sorry for the change of plans, it’s hard being disappointed.

It would depend. If he needed the car, like he didn’t have one or his was dying, then no I wouldn’t be. Okay I mean realistically I would be a little salty, but I’d understand and wouldn’t give him a hard time. Now if he had a perfectly good car and decided to get a new one just for kicks, id he pissed.

you have every right to be upset, sit down and talk to him and explain why and remind him that he knew you had the trip planned and the car could have waited until after!

If he needed a car and didn’t have one I wouldn’t be mad at my bf for doing the responsible thing and getting a car (bettering himself) over blowing it on a vacation 🤷‍♀️
