Do you ladies encourage your baby

Are you ladies putting your baby on they side to encourage them to roll? Or are you letting them figure it out in they own. My baby is almost three months and grabs and plays with toys enjoy tummy time long as not longer then 6 min lol and smiles and make noise all day but I’ve yet to see her roll. But if I put her on her side she will try to roll and get almost on her tummy but her arm gets stuck. Should I stop doing that and let her move on her time? Just asking for Opinions and what other ladies have done
