Would it be safer? Easier to regulate? Profitable for the economy due to tax?

I voted yes. I’m no expert, but ive heard arguments that it would reduce sex trafficking, help sex workers stay safe physically and health wise, and it could generate taxable income. I feel it’s somewhat similar to abortion in the sense that people are going to do it regardless of legality, so let’s create a safe and regulated avenue for it.

No. I could see decriminalizing a woman doing it but keeping soliciting a prostitute illegal. There are higher rates of human trafficking and sexual slavery where it's legal because there's the demand. Not to mention men feeling entitled to the "service" because it's legal and they have money. I also have concerns about unemployment being denied because someone wasn't comfortable resorting to prostitution.

It is quite literally one of the oldest professions in the history of humanity. It is and has always been and always will be something prevalent in society. For some reason we've developed a moral superiority over a profession that we keep in business despite said moral superiority. 
Legalize, tax, and regulate sex work. Not just prostitution, but the porn industry as well. Erase the stigma and maybe we'll actually start treating other people like they are people too.

I think it should be regulated to better protect sex workers. I also think we need to offer more social services and/or organizations to help people that don’t want to do sex work but see it as their only option (unemployed, addiction, etc.). We need to make sure that legalizing doesn’t allow victims to slip through the cracks

Yes. 
It reduces the amount of sex trafficking as law enforcement is able to determine who is legally registered to work and who is forced etc. 
It allows people to come forward without fear of persecution for a “victimless crime” 
Speaking of victimless crimes, prostitution is one of them. However A LOT of people associate prostitution with sex/human trafficking. TWO VERY DIFFERENT CRIMES. 
Prostitution is the “consensual” sale of sex. Sex trafficking is someone being forced to have sex for money, goods, etc. 
By decriminalizing prostitution at the very least, it allows the focus to be on the actual victims. 
Statistics show, that out of every 1000 people arrested for the crime, 333 are victims of sex trafficking. The reason for this is because traffickers use scare tactics to stop the victims from running to the police 
Scare tactics include but not limited to 
Threatening family 
Beating or abusing the victim 
Threatening livelihood of victim
Using the police abuse of authority to their benefits 
A prostitution conviction is one of the easiest crimes to convict a woman of. As u can be stopped and searched for so much as “looking” like a hooker. And if u happen to have a confirm on u, a SINGLE condom is seen as admissible evidence in a conviction. 
By legalizing or decriminalizing prostitution not only do we incentivize people to come forward, but we also help reduce the HIV and other std transmission. Because a condom can be used in a prostitution conviction, essentially ANYONE can be accused of the crime, which leads to less use of protection as to avoid a conviction. 
Johns will also be incentivized to report sex trafficking because currently they’re livelihoods are at threat for coming forward. They too can be charged with 647b. In countries where they focus on convicting johns instead of workers, they’re making it more risky and unsafe for workers as most workers screen their clients
Also this crime is a law that’s disproportionately convicted All women ESP POC and trans women

But at the end of the day, there will always be the bitter Susan’s that preach ABOUT LESS GOV control. But somehow find ways to have more gov control
