I think it looks great! Honestly if you wouldn’t have told me it was make up I’d believed it was real just from the picture! You did great and it does not look fake.

Maybe add some darker shades to the deeper parts and don’t pull the red irritation so far from the injury itself? Depth, dimension and color are all key factors in pulling off a realistic wound. If it’s just for Halloween at night then it looks fine to me. :)
