Columbus Day
Do you think this holiday should just be taken off of the calendar? Or at least not observed as a federal holiday? It’s always seemed like a throwaway holiday to me where all it was good for was a day off of school. A lot of states don’t even observe it which I didn’t realize.
Also, I think around 14 states now celebrate today as Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Would you be up for a holiday switch to acknowledge the Indigenous people instead?
