Losing virginity before wedding night
So my fiancé and I are both virgins. We wanted to both wait for marriage. Our wedding was supposed to be 2 months ago but had to postpone to April due to covid. Our anniversary is in march. I’ve read a lot that there’s too many nerves and most couples are way too tired on their wedding day. One of our main reasons for waiting was to not get pregnant. I do have an IUD (got it before we had to postpone).
Do you think it would be a surprise to have sex on our anniversary so it would relieve some of the stress of it being on our wedding day? It’s like 3 weeks before the wedding. I’ve been trying to search for some nice lingerie and I’m not sure what type of condoms to get. 🙈
Also, growing up my family always said to wait until marriage and sex was a bad thing, so I have had to learn most of this on my own and explore birth control on my own with my OB. I think this is another reason why I just try and wait until marriage because that was the “right” thing to do growing up. It had nothing to do with religion
