That solely depends on how your partner feels about it. If they’re uncomfortable with it or they feel threatened about it, then I don’t think it’s worth it if you’re happy in your relationship, your ex is your ex for a reason after all. But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being friends with an ex, even if you’re in a relationship, as long as your partner is 100% on board with it.

IMO, no. Majority of my exes were harmful or toxic to me so I have no desire to keep contact but for the others I just don’t feel the need to reopen closed chapters. I’ve moved on & left them in the past where they should stay. Keeping contact with an ex would be weird asf for me.
