Birth control

I’m someone who doesn’t do great with medication & things messing with my hormones. I also know it’s not super safe to get pregnant again right away. Before we started trying, the pull out method working perfectly, but I heard you’re more fertile after having a baby. I don’t know if I’m comfortable doing an IUD or anything inserted like that. My husband hates condoms and I find I don’t like the feeling. Anyone have any suggestions or ways to make birth control a better experience for me?
