Refusing to nap?

My son is almost 23 months old and in the past couple of weeks he has refused to nap a few times. 
Could this mean he is ready to drop his nap completely?

Yess I say keep trying they say after 2 usually they can drop it but keep trying for another month or so! try tiring activities and maybe you just meed more wind down time my son is an 11/26 baby and he has been going through a leap so night time and naps has been hard he has been fighting it but we leave him in his crib he will cry for like a minute not even because he knows he is tired too lol Buz we have to go in his room like a half hour before bed now so he can get his befor ebed energy out in his room i turne the sound machine amd dim light on amd I try to read but he wants to jump
and be crazy sometimes lol

Keep trying! My son was only napping 2-3 times a week got basically all August and September, but he's back to napping daily after he finished cutting his molars. Even if he's not sleeping, quiet time is good to help them decompress.

Do you put him in a dark, quiet room? My daughter is the same age and still takes 2 naps a day & my 4 yr old naps once. However, if their room is bright or they hear anything going on outside their room, they wont take a nap.
