C-section milk come in?

Any c-section moms here? When did your milk come in? 
With my first baby I had severe preeclampsia and my platelets, liver, etc were all damaged so my body took a long time to recover. My milk finally came in around 3 weeks, but I was still so sick that I never got a full flow so I had to use formula. This time I’m scheduling my c-section to hopefully avoid preeclampsia again, but I’m wondering if my milk will actually come in sooner and full flow if I’m not sick this time? I really want to breastfeed so I hope it’s possible 🙏

I had preeclampsia so they scheduled to induce me at 37weeks. 48.5 hours of labor to and emergency csection. My baby was in the NICU for a week. I pumped starting the morning after to get the colastum. My boobs were SO engorged the 3 days at the hospital. I was able to pump an ounce by the 3rd day leaving the hospital. I pumped everyday all day to and from the hospital. By the time she left after a week, she was completely on my breast milk. She was a premie baby, pretty tiny and by two weeks gained weight like a champ! 
So to answer your question my milk came in right away. Even not having her right next to me the first week in NICU.

I gave birth at 32 weeks due to severe preclampsia and I started pumping immediately after they cut him out of me. My milk wasn't great the flow the amount etc. So I also supplemented with formula and had to stop breast feeding all together because of a lack of breast milk. Him being in nicu for 2 months made my breast milk dry up and I was never able to physically breast feed just pump. However I am now pregnant with my second my first is 4 years old now and I'm 34 weeks currently. My scheduled c section is on Nov 20th and Im hoping my milk will come in shortly before or after that! My breasts are already leaking so I'm not sure if that's a good sign or not but I took it as that. Good luck to you ☺️

I was pumping with in a few hours later. 2 oz each side day 1. By day 4 I pumped 4 oz each side. My son wouldn’t latch the first 3 weeks.

I was able to nurse baby from day 1. We did skin to skin the second I was out of surgery and remained that way pretty much my entire stay at the hospital. She never lost too much weight and never had a problem afterwards. Good luck!

My milk came in within 3-5 days after my c-section and until that point I had to supplement with donor milk because my son had severe jaundice that he spent a few days in the NICU for.

My milk came in around day 3/4. Didnt have to supplement with formula even though my baby lost 10% of her birth weight. What really helped was doing skin to skin. For whatever reason only one of the last nurses we had suggested it and my milk started coming in hot!
