Single Momma?

My SO and I have been in rocky waters lately. He screams at me, curses me out in front of our son, tells me he’s over my BS, never helps out with our son or house hold chores. I have to ask for help every single time. Otherwise, he just lays on the couch on his phone all day. He tells me I “parent him” too much. Basically when I try to explain that we need to TEACH our son right from wrong and not just yell, he blows up on me screaming “eff you” among other things. (When our son does something he isn’t supposed to he screams “NO! Jesus you never f*cling listen!”. Its just a super toxic environment. He feels he does no wrong and that “he is who he is” or just being blunt towards me. I also just found out last week I’m pregnant with baby 2. And a few days later during an argument, he screamed at me saying “you want to do this sh*t again? Get the f*ck outta here”..... he already knew I was pregnant too....

Ive also recently found out he’s been texting an ex of his. He has her number saved in his phone as “⭐️⭐️⭐️”. I know who she is and I also have her number. She’s married with a baby. They vent to each other about their relationships but text often.. it concerns me because in the past she has tried hooking up with him or flirting with him right in front of me. He used to drunk text her when we’d have fights. And now he’s back to texting her when I go to bed and he stays up late... I’m not sure what to think of this either..

I cannot continue to be with someone that cannot sit down and have an adult conversation about things that are bothering him. I refuse to allow a man(child) treat me poorly, especially in front of our son.

I’m not sure if I’m looking for words of encouragement or advice. Or if separation is the right decision. I’m lost. I’m also slightly scared of being a single momma and pregnant on top of it. Even more so, having a newborn and a toddler on my own with no help... is being a single momma as hard as it sounds?

Sorry for the long rant... I’m just so tired.
