I’m so disappointed in my Mom

She has only been to visit 2 times since she was born. It’s her first and possibly only grandchild, I’m an only child. She’ll make plans but then cancel the day of. She’s missing her granddaughter grow up!! It makes me so frustrated because she wasn’t there for me when I was growing up too. It was almost always me and dad.

I don’t get why she doesn’t want to see her.

My MIL was visiting 2x a week before I went back to work and now she’s our nanny! I have a better relationship with her than my own mom.

Anyone else in the same boat?
