Plans for 18 mo with baby 2 on the way?

Hi everyone
I just found out I am expecting baby 2 in June 2021 when my May 2019 baby will be 2 years old!
I was wondering if any other moms who may be in this position are considering transitioning their May 2019 baby to a big kid bed in the next year? 
I probably won’t need to make a full transition until my daughter is about 2 years 4 months but not sure if that is too soon?

I’m in the same position girl, expecting in May. I’m listening to my 17mo. I’m not going to force him to grow up because I decided to have another baby. You know? if he’s ready then great. If he’s not then we don’t rush it.

I am due in April. We are buying another full size crib that converts to a toddler bed. Ours have to share a room. Advice I had been given was to keep both in cribs for as long as possible. Our son can open up doors and so having him in a bed before he is two being able to roam our home is terrifying.

Transitioning to what exactly? I'm expecting twins in January and have my 18 month old son. He currently sleeps in a full bed on the floor in his montessori room and sleeps through the night. The twins will have their own room.

I am expecting our 2nd in February and have already transitioned our son into a toddler bed and getting him off bottles. Next step is potty training, he wants to do it but I have to work on staying consistent. Just do it when you think she is ready to.

I’m due with our 3rd in March, and all 3 of ours will be 3 and under. Our 2nd will be in her big girl bed by then! Probably transitioning in early January!

We’re not expecting but we transitioned our first to his toddler bed before he was 2 years old (I believe he was 20 months) and it was totally fine, he didn’t have any issue with it. With this baby we skipped cribs and toddler beds entirely, he’s on a mattress on the floor and it’s been great.

We’re expecting in March 2021 and we plan too transition our 1 year old too a toddler bed when baby is almost ready too transition out of her bassinet, we were gonna transition her before sister is born but my mom suggested we wait she said that’s how she transitioned my sister out of her crib when my youngest sister was born and it worked so we’re gonna try that. As for it being too soon i feel she’ll be ok since she’ll be about 2 when we transition her

I’m expecting #3 in June 2021! I’ll move my daughter to her brothers room to share around he 2nd birthday. He has a bunk bed, so he will sleep on top and she will sleep on the bottom. As for now, she’ll stay in the toddler bed.

I'm due with baby #3 in January. I'm going to wait to transition him, baby #2, to his twin size bed until he climbs out of his crib or when the baby needs to be in her crib. He will share a room with his big brother, 5 year old, so I have already set that up for them to share. Last week I redecorated and painted the nursery in preparation for baby girl. My oldest transitioned around 20 months to a twin size bed so I think by May your May 2019 baby will be ready or already transitioned.

My son went into a bed at 18 months and was absolutely fine. Sleeps so much better in a bed rather than a cot 😊
