Do bad parents automatically make bad grandparents?
If you have bad parents do you think it’s justified to automatically not give them a place as a grandparent to your own children? Or do you think people can change?
My in-laws were not good parents to my fiancé. Emotionally negligent and didn’t have good judgement in what situations were good for a child to be in and didn’t protect him from things he should have been. So we automatically feel they wouldn’t be much better as grandparents, maybe even worse.
