My doctor told me to start taking baby aspirin at 12 weeks to try to prevent preeclampsia.. Thoughts?

I had sudden severe with my first. Was induced on the spot at 37w4d. When I found out I was pregnant with my second at 5 weeks they started me on the baby asprin right away and I had it all the way until I gave birth. 
If your DR is recommending it, I don’t see why you wouldn’t want to do it 🤔 is this your first baby?

I'm on aspirin 150mg since 14w. In my case it's because I have high chances of growth restriction...

Mine did also. I was scared but I trust my doc she wouldn’t recommend something that will harm me or baby. Currently 24 weeks pregnant

I started it at 24 weeks with my first and was closely monitored for preeclampsia the remainder of my pregnancy and ended up developing it during labor after being induced. They told me my next pregnancy I would have to start it around 12 weeks. Just one baby aspirin a day. If your doctor is recommending it, which is becoming more common practice for anyone at high risk of developing it, I would do it.
