Has anyone every stayed in one of the luxury wings at the hospital?

I’m not due until March but trying to get information on the Mckeen Pavilion at Columbia.  Ive had a difficult pregnancy so my husband wants to treat me to a room upgrade. For those who have done the same, were you able to book in advance? Or is it like every other private room where its pretty much first come first served?

I think you would need to check with the hospital. I imagine they are all different.

No hospital in our area has "luxury rooms." Yiu get placed in the appropriate unit with the appropriate staff. Anything past that depends on bed availability

I would call the hospital and see. 
The hospital I gave birth at has L&D private rooms for everyone but the two with tubs are first come. The postpartum ward is private rooms as well. It was nice to have to think about what kind of room I wanted.
