Do COVID workers get anything back for income taxes??

I’ve tried looking this up on the internet but haven’t gotten a straight forward answer as of now. I worked this entire year at Texas Roadhouse during the pandemic while my boyfriend sat home collecting unemployment, which I’m happy he was making so much because it helps both of us because we live together. He made over $10,000 sitting on his butt while I was being paid $300 a week working mine off at risk. I heard rumors of COVID workers getting a lump sum for all the hours they worked during the pandemic but I’m not positive how realistic that is, does anyone have answers for me??? I could really use the money because we’re about to get an apartment and have no furniture plus I need a car lol
