When should I pack my hospital bag and have everything ready?

I’m 27 weeks with twins and wondering when I should have a hospital bag packed and everything ready to go for the babies at home? What would you ladies suggest?

I am 32 weeks tomorrow and plan on packing everything to have it ready tomorrow. 😊

For me I had complications and I could’ve had them at anytime so I was ready to go since 28 weeks. Made it to 37 🥰

I was 34ish weeks when I started to have everything ready at home, and I didn’t pack my hospital bag until 37 weeks. Granted, base your timing off of your pregnancy. If you’re having issues, then pack a little earlier. Same with having everything ready at home, if you’re worried about being able to get around and putting together baby gear/furniture, do it a little early when you’re smaller.

I would pack a bag now. I had my twins at 28 weeks via emergency c section and I was literally just throwing clothes into a bag and went straight to the hospital

I packed my bags at 29 weeks after I was in the hospital for preterm labor the first time. I ended having an emergency c section at 34 weeks.

Thanks ladies! I have some complications but nothing too serious. My doc said her goal is to get me to 32 weeks and then we’ll plan week to week from there so I guess I’ll start getting things together just in case!
